Privacy Policy
Rereado is designed as a local-first reading app. Your books, notes, reading progress, and review schedule stay on your device. We receive limited diagnostics when the app crashes or has performance issues, and any information you choose to send for support.

Information Rereado stores on your device
Rereado may store the following information locally on your device:
- Imported EPUB files and book cover images.
- Book titles, authors, and other library information.
- Reading position, reader settings, and onboarding state.
- Notes, recall cues, passage context, review schedules, and review history you create in the app.
- Notification permission state and pending review reminder state.
This information is used to provide the app's reading, note-taking, spaced review, and reminder features. It is not sent to a server.
Information we collect
We do not operate user accounts, use advertising SDKs, track you across apps or websites, or sell personal information.
If you contact us for support, we will receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, screenshots, app version, device model, or diagnostic details. We use this information only to respond to your request and improve Rereado.
Crash reports and diagnostics
Rereado uses Sentry to help us find and fix crashes, bugs, and performance problems. When diagnostics are sent, they may include technical details such as app version, device model, operating system, crash stack traces, logs, performance traces, profiling data, and sanitized request URLs. Rereado does not collect your IP address.
Sharing with third parties
We do not share your notes, reading progress, imported books, or support messages with third parties except when required by law, to protect our rights, or with service providers who help us operate support and diagnostics and who must protect the information consistently with this policy. Sentry processes crash reports and diagnostics for us.
Retention and deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, uninstall the app, or erase the device. Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request and maintain basic business records.
To request deletion of support information you sent to us, or to ask a privacy question, contact us from the support page.
Changes
We may update this policy as Rereado changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
